I've read somthing regarding HTC TouchFLO 2 (http://engadgetmobile.com/tag/touch) under the code name "Manila (http://engadgetmobile.com/tag/touch)", anyone with it's hands on it?
Manila won´t work on the Artemis. It needs grafik Hardware and a lot of CPU Power.

But are you aware of the resources it needs to work?
I remember wen it was for the 1st version many persons were saying exactly the same, but these guys made it happen!!
I say it would be great to give it a test drive!:D:D:D

Hi meer
So do we know what it is for
It seems that it is the 2nd version of the Cube that HTC made.
By the images seems great! I just can't wait to give it a test drive.

I have just tried this on my orbit and removed it because I couldn't manage to configure it with touchflo.
But I saw enough to be impressed. It seems to be the same as the standard HTC cube, but with an extra side containing 12 launcher buttons. Now if we could have a cooked rom including this cube, that would be excellent. The cube would then be a really useful tool, not just a toy.
Is this possible??

That cube isnt anoter version of HTCs hence not being able to use the HTC tool to configure it. HTC uses a "fake" cube (it only has 3 sides for starters!!). This one is a true 3D (open GL cube).
There is a seperate config program and I think all the settings are in an XML file if you want to do it the old-fashioned way!

Yesterday I read about Nvidia's new APX 2500 processor which I understand is being built into new HTC phones. Some say the first phones with this processor might ship this year. Manila wouldn't be such a challenge for it like our little Omaps. That's my currenty theory what it's inteded for.
