Hi San,
Have you tried manual install of files on other ROM's? Does it work?
If it does work on other ROM's, creating the .cab should be a snap!

Havent tried it, but it should work....dont see any reason as to why it wont! Its just a today plugin and I've extracted all files related to it and the reg entries....

My current rom already has it installed, so it would be a pain for me to try it. If someone else could test it, that would be great!

Can't test at the moment either since I have SnapVUE running in mwang-DFT ROM.

The good old himalaya days m8!!! It was one of the best times really! Getting wm5 to work on the himalaya was such a cool thing....having had to format the DOC, partition it, merging the memory.....wow! That was one hell of a good time, and clearly the best gadget I've had in terms of fun and experience! :)

But hey, you may want to check the Athena Project SnapVue cab that I referred to as not working in our Uni probably because some files or reg entries were embedded during the build process. It should be similar to the one's we have since Pawel062 credited Chris of The Darkforces Team (DFT) as the original source, mwang is from DFT also! Download Here. It is nice to be newbie, the learning process continues.

Though some bad news. The att tilt was purchased in the first week of January in California. The nephew visited his brother in Argentina and forgot to bring the Kaiser home. So we are now looking sometime in April. It is might the April's fool joke on me! :)

Nahhh, can't find a shop that can do it in Manila. Btw, have you tried the HTC Manila interface? Possibly a Snapvue & a HTC Cube replacement & it's for VGA devices! Saw it in the Kaiser forum last night!

Wonder, if San has upgraded his Uni to 128mb. In South India, they probably have tons of shop to do this kind of work! :)

Hi KOR,

I'm sure San has 64Mb, he was the first one to complain of low mem on the WM6.1 ROM! But, hey he's cool coming out with a re-cooked WM6.1, 6Mb PP & with 10Mb Flash Disk!!! Not bad for a newbie! :p

It's a shame though that NNCuong has not made public his WM6.1 ROM with 22Mb Flash Disk. I hope mwang-DFT's coming release has Flash Disk too! He's got something special on his sleeve!

It sure is tempting to have these new QVGA devices like the Kaiser, lots of beautiful customizations & enhancements. But, the VGA plugins like SnapVue, PointUI & HTC Manila are coming out as well. No need to reply, I'm growing your horns ... errr posts. :D
