Problem with P3400

i have a P3400, but one day the battery is fully empty for 2-3 hours.then i charge it for 10 hours!but when i turn it on after i enter my password i see an error that said one of my program can't run, when i enter ok another error for another program is visible and in the last, all of my program didn't run and i can't see my contact or see my battery status and etc!so i do a soft reset!after many reset my programs run but in booting first the LED at top off PPC being red, then PPC booting too slow!so i do a hard reset!but my problem dosen't solve.now my PPC boot and work but it doesnt show the true status of my battery and it work's in slow motion and every 10 minutes my clock goes forword about 2 minuts!for example if real time is 6 and my PPC shows 6 after 5 hours the real time is 11 but my ppc show 7 and when i want to charge it although the battery is not full but the green LED turn on and after a few minutes the LED change to orange but after a few minute the orange LED is wink!!!now if i update my ROM is it possible to solve my problem or my problem is about main battery?!how can i update my ROM?i dont want the beta version of ROM and I want the original version of WM5!although i can't install Vukile ROM with Rio HSPL and without it!Guide me plz.Thank's a lot

Why don't you just try the mun_rus_WM6 rom just to establish whether you have a rom problem or a hardware problem?

finally i install the Vukile WM5 ROM but my problem doesen't solve!what can i do now?!

as pointed out earlier, try with WM6 provided by mun_rus.

get a new battery ... it isnt that costly

the battery is supposed to work better than this .... mine works for 3-5 days in hundrer percent charge ... and quite a decent amount of usage!!!

try borrowing a friends battery 4 a day and try with it!!
if it doesnt work contact me!!

payam_op, HTC had released a patch related to time problem, check that at HTC's site [you'll have to register]. Also check that the timez-zone you had selected are same on your Gene and on the system you are connecting the gene.

i download that patch but that patch is for prevent losing time when emit the battery!
it dosen't solve my problem!:(

i am rather serious .... generally i chat for like 2-3 hours a day and a hundred sms
still i can atleast squeeze out 3-4 days

Same here, I talk for around 1 - 2 Hrs a day, check my mails [approx 50 a day] and some text messages and my battery lasts for 3 days.

I found out that my P3400 charge only when it's turn off i put it in the charg and turn it on!it's the only way that i can charge my device!
my bluetooth can't turn on!
so what can i do?!!!
I'm morose and i don't like to give my device to repair it!
can i replace it with a new device?!if i can how can i replace it?!?

Here, if your total amount of voice calls exceed 7 minutes, you cannot have your phone swapped out for a new one, instead, you have to send it in for repairs. If the same applies to you then you don't have a choice but to send your phone in for repairs. :cool:

1. On some incoming calls my mobile(P3400) hangs and im not able to attend call. i need 2 soft reset mobile and call them back.

2. Some time my friends tell me that they have been calling me for more than twice and im not getting any call alert from them.

I am usingthis device since Oct 2007 it was performing quite good but suddenly I started facing probs with battery backup it hardly lasts for a day now. conditions were worst those I was unable to use battery for more than hr or two. then I preferred to format it now its working for a day but still 3-4 days is like dream.
but I would also like to mention I atleast use it for 2-3 hrs daily calling and 24 hrs online.
I also faced problems like out of coverage message and hanging on some calls

You can Get a windows mobile 5.0 rom at www.leaf.co.za but the mun_rus wm6.1 rom works like a dream on my phone :):):)

but now that i install WM5 on it My ONBL & SPL Version is 1.7.0000
i have some problem with this SPL & Olip SPL !!!
Is There anybody Know that how can i have my original SPL & ONBL ???
