I have 2 HTC Touch phones with Sprint.. One works perfectly, the other does not boot up.. Now, this phone is under warranty and HTC said they would fix it, but wheres the fun in that.. Im a heavy modder of Moto phones and id like to learn to fix these smart phones..

Now, Here is what a Normal Touch says when booted

M 03
B 01
P ACAAAAM-4070
R 2.13.00
D 1.12

This is what the other phone shows

M 03
B 01
P No Radio

I figured no big deal, Flash a radio and were good.. I download the stock sprint pack and it flashed fine but I guess there isnt a radio in the package.. so I decided to download just the radio only and it starts up DUU and switches the phone from the rainbow screen to a grey screen with the percentage complete bar at the top and it never moves.. Stays at 0%..

*Note: Dead phone sticks on loading screen that displays the info. Never makes it past the HTC Logo.. Cannot fully boot phone but it can be reset with the R/G/P Buttons or put in Flash mode with R/G/C/P Buttons and thats it..

With it doing this, Im leaning towards this being a hardware issue that I cannot repair.. Anyone want to back me up on that.. OR anyone have any ideas?

Just a curiosity question: did u unlock your phone first?
If not, head over to ppcgeeks.com.
You can verify by bringing the boot screen

Provided you've done the above, u may try to flash your ROM for an SD card.
How? Format your SD card as FAT32 and place in its root your ROM but renamed as VOGUIMG.nbh then reflash your ROM by launching the Boot Screen (3-colors screen)

HTH, my 2 cents
