WM5 to WM6 disaster?

so, i've just attempted to upgrade from WM5 to WM6 with the upgrade from www.my-xda.com, and it seems to have gone horribly wrong. reckon this can be fixed, it's just starting at the o2 screen now and not booting.

Can you tell us if you did everything in the order as it is written on the forums here? CID unlocking... etc etc.
What was the last thing " you did to it " before it "crashed" ?
