How the fuck am I supposed to sync my phone to my computer when the contacts are on my phone and not my computer?!?! I have lost all of my contacts for the second time in a year and I am livid. How are you supposed to get your contacts off your phone without syncing it and having your computer erase all your contacts?!?!?!?!? :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Why don't you do this;
Open Outlook\Import export\ Import from another File\next\Personal folder file (.pst)\next\under option,"Replace duplicates with items imported"\next\it should open up this file location........
C:\users\Name\appData\local\Microsoft\Outlook.
Every few days it back itself up, so you should be able to restore your contacts.

but it was my own dumbass fault and at that note, if i wouldve backed up my contacts first it wouldn't have been a big deal.

If you are talking about Outlook Office, Outlook Office automatically backs up everything you have in Office Outlook. Just import them back.

It has happend to me again also.
First setup Windows Mobile Device Center to sync Outlook with the items from the phone. It did... Later on I changed it to sync my phone with Outlook.
It trashed some of my contacts...
Thank GOD (and I'm not even religious) that they where saved in the Trash folder of Outlook.
I now make a daily backup of my contacts using PimBackup, it will only save 7 backups (I've set that up)... So if I or some virus created by Microsoft will delete contacts I've got them backuped...
Personally, I think it's really crappy that the software doesn't ask what data to update when syncing. I prefer to manually select to keep or discard contacts peace by peace than Outlook changing them without a questions asked....
