If you cant install any .cab, of course all you have to do is doing a soft reset first, that caused by another apps that use the extractor system, so your cab cant be extracted,.

- Create a directory named "My Ringtones" inside "My Documents" folder on the device (Not Storage Card)

I have been using your rom in my Pure atom frm version 6 to 6.1
I would like to bring this few issues to ur attention so you can advice me on this.

Both the versions suffer in the Audio quality.
1) If i play a song from card, around 7mb it stuck up in middle and continues to sing after sometime.

2) i dont find the equalizer in teh one you have given us now.

3) If I update teh registry as mentioned by you for using conversation type sms, if i do a soft reset , all the sms gets deleted and am not able to see any change in sms style .

and as a request, could you add more games for us.

if your antivirus detect this 2 file is virus,you will unable to use the files.(Or unistall your anti virus)

How is your battery drain on this rom?
On begin after flash, i have 3-5%/1h, this was too much for me, so i reflash using old radio rom, now battery drain is about 2%/1h, this is also too much.
On old WM6 i have less than 1%/1h, about 4-8%/8h.
In 24h standby with about 40min talk time with off screen atom is death. Somtimes earlier.

My battery is new, 2000mah, on orginal battery 1530 drain was almost same.
no 3rd party apps instaled, after instalation phonealarm is little better.
I have readed many post about battery on atom, metal stick on battery, 3rd apps and others stuff.

Before Kumara 6.1, with 6.0 (5.2.2000) releases I can sync my contacts, tasks emails, favorites, and notes. After update to 6.1 only notes items not synchronize, am I doing anything wrong? pls help. Also I can see modem link is absent, so cannot work with infrared modem.

But all in one, it’s a nice ROM. very fast. Love to continue with this 6.1 release, and want to sync my notes items. Anyone ?

Try to Delete Mobile Device from drop down file menu on your PC activesync and from your Activesync on Atom as well. Doing this step as if you start your sync from the scratch. Don't forget to back up all your data first.

Hi Garmin, i found that myself is more convenient when using Kumara last present 6.1. However, there are two things that had make me to reinstall into PDAVIET made by Son Black

1. There is no IR connection over the active sync, only USB and bluetooth, i found that my home computer failed to connect with my atom. I can only connect using IR for my home's PC. In the other hand, it works successfully with my other PCs.

2. The message style is shown in conversation dialogue, which is pretty annoying especially when you hit the wrong button then it goes reply to the sender.

If you know how to fix these two issues, i will consider to reinstall ^_^ the ROM back to Kumara 6.1 last present again. In terms of stability, i have to say that Kumara rocks the ROMs.

Its your decision to have a ROM in your ATOM, just let me say something, "how did you use the IR?, have you turn it on? in the right way?"

1. check it out, your PC, it could be what IR did you use for your PC? PC software affect, disorganized registry, etc.
--------> i am not using PC to sync with active sync, but using notebook as well, and it works flawlessly,. and sometime, i have to sync with IR when i left the cable at home,.



2. which ROM version did you use? my latest version of kumara wm6.1 last present, doesnt have a conversation style, it use an original style,.



and once again, i wont cook only for you, then it just your decision, to choose the best rom that fit you,.

Thank you for your prompt reply, i know this is too much for you to cook the room for me, i clearly understood. Nevertheless, as i had mentioned before the active sync won't connect me to my PC throughout IR connection.

The IR connection does not comes from the activesnyc in my PC but comes from your cooked room. When you click the active sync from the atom, it gives you only two option
1. Connect through USB
2. Connect through Bluetooth

No option to choose IR connection unlike other cooked room, for some reason my laptop couldn't connect to the atom through USB, so my only hope is IR connection (from the PDA)

2. I was using your final version of Kumara last present, i am pretty sure this is the version that you'd mentioned right? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=329037). Maybe i was wrong but the message style was shown in a conversation dialogue as if you chat with someone else. For me, i prefer the old style.

It's hardly for me explain in details, so please if you can help me to fix these issues.

My bad, apparently i was using not the last version of Kumara, but the previous one. No wonder, i couldn't find the IR connection over the activesync and the message was shown in conversation dialogue.

Seems that Garmin has left Atom development I do not mind taking up where he left off, seems a lot of work just to remove some icons but if that's the way it is going to be, I guess that's what I will do.

Thanks a lot for the feed back wfwoo88, answer to your query is that while on the call if you press the power button, the LCD will switch off and hence giving you more battery life. :)

I'm using kumara 6.1 a few days now and apart being a nice rom the bluetooth doesnot work as it should.I can send files but i cannot receive.my computer will create network and audio gateway only once atom is connected.No file transfer unfortunately.Same applies for other phones as well.

Go to http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Hacks_WM5, follow the step for Enable OBEX File Transfer. If you've already edit the registry and turn on IR but it's still not working, try soft-resetting. It works for my Atom with Kumara 6.1

From SonBlack's WM6.1 to Homer's Atom WM6 0.7.2 01172008C1WWE and now to Garmin's Kumara, WM6.1 Last Present...

Is it to do with unhide+unlock? (I'm unsure how this is done for Atom)
Or another issue?

1) Calculator Screen where the numbers appear is so blurr....

This is my 5th ROM after "Kumara TOUCH WM6 Premium", and i gave my 5th ROM name "Kumara WM 6.1 Last Present (because i wont cook again, i have atom no more,.)",.


What makes me built it??
- It have new (OS CE 5.2.19199 Build 19199.1.0.0)

- and it is Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional based,.


so, this ROM is for XDA ATOM or XDA ATOM PURE ONLY,.

Here are the upgrade procedure,.
1. Enter BootLoader menu (by pressing "Action button + Reset button")
2. Connect XDA ATOM to PC using USB cable
3. Run "Update.exe" (located in "Kumara WM 6.1 Last Present" folder)
4. Perform Hard Reset when it finished

Atom will mean Atom, Atom Exec will mean Atom Exec.
Take the names "as is", and you won't go wrong.

Once u upgraded to this WM6.1, I bet u wouldn't want to go back to WM5. I'm using this rom now....and it is fast....

I used homer's b4 and having problem can't solve.
This rom is great, just only the battery drop down to 10% after 4 hrs ( bt headphone for Mp3 ). Homer's rom can work around 6 hrs.

I think the bettery draining like that is OK, because the bettery of Atom family are not good. If you can use in full one day , I think everything is acceptance!

Thats impossible to remove / uninstall aps that cooked as ROM bro,.

just deactivate it, and install your SPB, might this help,.
