This is my 5th ROM after "Kumara TOUCH WM6 Premium", and i gave my 5th ROM name "Kumara WM 6.1 Last Present (because i wont cook again, i have atom no more,.)",.

- For those who cant set .mp3 as a ringtone,.

I have checked both the builds 19716 and 19199 - there is a significant difference between the two. The PDAViet release of 19716 is not so good - because the icons and design is bad.

Can you release this with latest build 19716 please ?

Hi, as long as i know, data connection from comm manager never could be activated manually, (i have ask and try) but, it is used to turn off your ON data connection,.

In the HTC home plugin, if we press the button for missed calls or last calls , the top task bar vanishes, and there is a white screen in its place. Thereafter, it is difficult to bring it back to the today screen. The button for missed call is the small button on the home part that shows 0! below the clock .

I ever had that problem, but that problem show only once, then never, all you have to do for making it works or making your device faster:

1. Open all menu (Access, misc, office, etc)
2. Open all settings TAB (Personal, System and Connection)

Very good ROM, i like it much compare to Kumara WM6 Premium.
But, I can't install 'Medical Wizard' progs.

It can only goes to main memory (Taber cyclopedic is abot 68 MB).

With Kumara WM6 Premium works fine.

Any solution?

Just installed the Vista Cube from poorlyduck here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=350011), the finger gestures didn't work at first but after changing the gesture waiting delay settings lower, it work GREAT! The cube open and closes immediately and the finger scrolling works like a charm :D

As for the missed / last call problem, haven't had that problem b'cos I press the OK button when closing.

Will keep on testing...

The video also does not work - any video being played gives the error "The source filter for this file could not be loaded". While Garmin's screenshot shows video works, the steps to make it work are not mentioned.

- No Java

- No Action Screen
- No PIM Backup

using XP home...Can install 02xda_eng Rom no dramas.... Plus others no problem...Rom on now should be 6.1 pdaviet but installs as author Shruff & is wm6 have tried deleting out the temp directory but no joy still get Author Shruff but it is stable :) Tried installing all of your Rom's - starts as normal e.g. active sync closes down and the install screen pops up - but then get the same 'Wrong Rom for your device' message...so if USB playing up why not with other Roms.. really want to try so any suggestions would be appreciated

Ok found a fix loaded all apps into windows temp file and hey presto... Kumara 6.1 Rom on my Atom ... will play arround some more but cannot get wireless to stay on... it started saw the network put in passcode and it started to work then wireless went off ... selecting wireless now the icon shows then back to G then it goes to off in comm manager

Also HTC Home sometimes cleaves a small column off to the right hand side, affecting the entire screen - so if you have the date on the top right...you'll see "14/2/200[and half of the 8]", you won't see the button for the weekly weather view, so on so forth.

Any ideas?

Another strange thing happened when making a call today, I was driving and left my handsfree at home, so I had to use speaker phone, had about 5 calls with no problem but 1 call when I selected Speaker On, the dialer hung but the call counter continued. I couldn't hear anything and I don't think the caller could hear me, so when he hung up, a high pitch noise came from the speaker, like the one you hear when you are in a Karaoke and your microphone is too near the speaker.

Had to do a soft reset and everything goes back to normal. Subsequent calls with speaker on works fine after that.

No big deal, just a small bug I think :)

Maybe you havent uncheck the Auto update weather, please uncheck it, after updating, you wont lost your previous data, (on my screenshot, the weather update has been 3/4 hours ago)

BT is working fine. Tested it with TomTom yesterday.

If you have opened the Comm Manager once before, then closing the Camera software will bring you back to the Comm Manager. A soft reset will have it working fine again until you use Comm Manager :).

The interface is fine but have found bluetooth is now garbled and not clear on many calls (Blueant Z9 + I-tech Arrow I) Was excellent and clear esp with Z9 on Homer Rom... is there any plans to replace the current Bluetooth Stack as had same challenge on Kumara touch edition which i loved but had to uninstall because of call quality ... this has nothing to do with Streaming music etc it is just phone clarity via bluetooth headset related ...

Attached are a few screenshots I took, I can replicate theshadow1666's problem by rotating the screen, after an unload and reload of the Home Plugin, it's fine. A normal screenshot is there for comparison.

Attached as well are known problems like the missed calls white screen and video playback problems, also, when I try to use Word the first time, it's fine, but using the X button to close it by holding creates the problem when you try to open word again, nothing appears except the New and Menu softkey.

An update... due to business had to have bluetooth headset working correctly...garbled voice via headset was bad. installed PDAViet 6.1 by SonBlack and bluetooth calls are crisp and clear the same as with homer285 Rom...so not sure what version of bluetooth these otherwise great rom's of yours have but they do not work well for my Atom :(

Thanks PaSSoA - I can also vouch for the problem with the Call History screen - going in = ok, going back out = requires move to keypad (phone) then back to Today screen, can't go back out just on the Call History screen.

Also - the Bluetooth keyboard issue has popped up again.
I connect it and use Word Mobile - but it often disconnects suddenly - only after soft reset can you return it to normal.

That's the new format of WM6.1, sms are all in "chat" format. To forward a message, you need to highlight it first by selecting it starting from the top of the message where the Contact and time is and move downwards to highlight, it should turn light blue. Then under options the forward function would be enabled and you can forward as ususal :)

Also I am being asked for auto configuration and on pressing the 'yes' button there is no list of countries or service provider being displayed.

Please look into it. If u want me to send a screen shot kindly let me know how do i take a screen shot.

No, Pal, I have not added any apps other than updating your ROM.

Initially, I had posted that there was a problem with the camera, which on closing would go to comm manager, post that the camera application would not open at all. To resolve this I did a soft reset and this new problem cropped up. A hard reset also did not resolve the issue.

Trying a fresh installation once again. Hope that the problem gets rectified this time over.

Hi there,

Yesterday i tried to use this rom and it just would not go past the boot up screen, luckily i was able to put it into bootloader, however it took three attempts to correct the problem, i am now running wm6 pro 5.2.1948, so i won't be trying this one again,

Hi, may i ask your help?
my computer was broken (when the windows bootscreen showed up, it show blue screen with some text there, the bluescreen showed only 0.1 second, then my comp reboot, then it happen again) (it always restart),.

I have no idea how to fix it, i was thinking of reinstalling windows, but, it will be a pity, if its not software problem, but hardware, then i have to loose my data,.


I have fix all the bugs, including bluetooth receiving and camera problem, and a2dp now works well with more devices,.



Would you forward this to the forum (my thread) mate?
i am browsing with my kaiser, via gprs, so it will be very expensive, if i have to open PM then open my thread,.

So .. please wait for a while.. He should to fix his PC first..:)

Most probably the problem has something to do with your hardware .... try to disconnect unnecessary hardware from your computer such as usb device, until your computer can boot up the windows again until u find the source of the problem.... could be also after you have installed new thing...

Sorry to hear bout your PC problems, unfortunately, there might be so many possibilities to what the problem is, it might even be a OS problem. I think the best way to find out is to get another hard disk and re-install the OS and use the old hard disk as a slave drive, that way your data is intact and you've got a new OS system to play with, of course the reinstallation of all your applications would be a pain.

I think all of us are patiently waiting for your new ROM... ;)

This is my 5th ROM after "Kumara TOUCH WM6 Premium", and i gave my 5th ROM name "Kumara WM 6.1 Last Present (because i wont cook again, i have atom no more,.)",.


What makes me built it??
- It have new (OS CE 5.2.19199 Build 19199.1.0.0)

- and it is Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional based,.


so, this ROM is for XDA ATOM or XDA ATOM PURE ONLY,.


Its not like the first, second, and third ROM, this is nor a clean ROM anymore, I have add:

Here is the upgrade procedure,.
1. Enter BootLoader menu (by pressing "Action button + Reset button")
2. Connect XDA ATOM to PC using USB cable
3. Run "Update.exe" (located in "Kumara WM 6.1 Last Present" folder)
4. Perform Hard Reset when it finished


Well, this is not a perfect ROM, but this ROM could make you call anyone or send message to anyone,. :p
and If you found that this ROM is buggy, feel free to report / share it,.
Finally, if you dont like it, then remove it,.

I run spbbackup, then it will do soft reset automatically. After that, I cannot see the oxio close icon on the top right corner. There is pop up message: cannot read storage card, do you want to format it? Of course I choose no. Run file explorer: my data on storage card is good. Then I realized that the extended ROM is missing. Tried do soft reset again, even hard reset but nothing. Check camera: not working. And my atom become slow.
Anybody has the same problem? So I decided to flash using 3rd ROM.

Well, I guess sometimes even though it clearly stats that it's for Atom / Atom Pure, people might want to try their luck. If I had another phone besides Atom, I would hope this could be installed on my device too :)

not all people will try their luck, It's an expensive device(before!) and it's pricey to have an expensive paperweight!

If you read the forum everyday, you'll know who was the last person who bricked his device by flashing an atom ROM to a HP device. Feeling that the user is knowledgable enough, thinking that a 6828 and atom are the same device. Just like the numerous devices that got bricked from DELL thinking that a V50 and a V50i(or x I think but sure hell it's from dell) was the same device.

With original Rom WM5.0 and Kumara WM 6.0 Last Present (OS CE 5.2.2000 Build 20000.1.0.0), work fine and stable, but my Bluetooth headset T909S (www.ever-e.com) gets the sound not good (has parasitic noise). And with Kumara WM 6.1 Last Present (OS CE 5.2.19199 Build 19199.1.0.0) my Bluetooth headset T909S not work. Could anyguy tell me how to cook to fix that bug?

I'm facing this problem. If i restore the old pim backup, outlook does not synchronize, it creates 2 copies of data. If i synchronize frst then try to restore old pim data, it doesn't add to the existing data.
In any ways, synchronization is not happening

Appreciate if someone assist my problem,
1. The Wifi is not turning on, Original version self diag can detect the Wlan but WM6 says no adapter found. In the network card O2 Wifi card is present.

2. SIM card can only detect some provider link mine only Singtel but Starhub and M1 is not detected in singapore. Singtel signal is also weak. Appreciate anyone's help.

I have the same problem. If I answer yes, it will format the extended ROM. But I did it after remove my SD card, just in case. If I answer no, the extended ROM is not recognized. I tried hard reset, still the same. I think the only way is to flash it again.

Thanks bro, what your said is correct.

The system is reformat the extended ROM and all the files are gone. After format I do a soft reset and the Extended ROM is available again (b4 reset the name is _QHiddenPartition), + point :) for this good feature.

However does anybody else can supply me the clean Extended ROM so that I won't to flash my baby Atom again? (I guess this way should work because I am lazy)
