ActiveSync is annoying when not plugged in!

Does anybody know how to disable AS when its not plugged in to the computer?!?! AS always run in the background and I think it waste alot of memory...Help Please!

on your phone or on your pc?

If its on the phone just go to settings/Task manager and turn it off. Or you can turn it off with XButton.

Or try Start>Settings>Personal>Phone>Time Zones & uncheck the box that says "Automatic change time zone and clock". For some strange reason that seems to stop it from popping up.
