I have tried other weather programs but they all have issues and slow to update. i keep going back to htc weather. Is there a way to make it auto update like every 4 hours? Mortscript maybe?

Sure there is. No hacks needed. Go to the weather tab. Tap on the city and you'll get a list of cities. In the bottom right of the screen you'll see the "Menu" option. Click on it and select "Weather options". Now select the Automated checkbox.

i have set it to update automatically, but i think it only autoupdates when i switch to weather not in standby mode. this is with my mogul and touch. is there a patch? is its2u2 interfering? how often does it autoupdate?

mine updates consistantly about every 3 hours with out selecting it (as long as u have an active network connection).

are you using s2u2? wonder if this has anything to do with it.

i wonder if s2u2 is interfering some way.

i even have Nosuspendpower turned on, and still no background updating.

Superfly, have you found a script or to make this work. I would like to have mine update whether in use or not, every hour.
