wireless switch

Hi

there is a program that can allow me to switch between 802.11b and 802.11g?

my wireless is b/g and i think the phone is using g, and it is causing a loss of power, so my battery run only for a day.

i also have switched to maximum battery under wireless settings, but i have no noticed the 802.11 switch...it exist?

I looked but couldn't find out what the value for 'off' is. This is the registry setting that you need to change though:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\TNETWLN1\parms]
"dot11SupportedRateMaskG"=DWORD:8

thanks, but if i do not know how to set off, i don't think that will be a good thing to remove the registry key itself ;)

anyone know a program, tweaker or something to do this?

just change it name to the same but with old_ in front
