Direct Push - screen on for new mail?

Hi,

I've done a bit of searching and can't find anything on this - I have direct push working fine on my Tytn II, and an alarm sounds and it vibrates when new mail is received. I would like the screen to wake up too (as it does for SMS messages), but can't find a way. Any ideas?

Perhaps there is a registry hack somewhere?

That is normal behaviour.

Texts wake up the screen, emails don't.
