Hey all!!! I just purchased an unlockled TYTN II and using T-mobile as the carrier for my wife. I installed TOMTOM navigator and I can't get it to detect the GPS on the phone. Do I have to go through T-mobile to get it working or what. I believe these phones already come with the GPS enabled. Any clue on how I could get it working??

Select:
• Other NMEA GPS
• Baudrate 4800
• COM4
Start tomtom and go outside. Without using QuickGPS you should get a fix within 3 minutes.

I just giot the tomtom nav6 And I cant buy the maps on the website because it seems to be down. Can anyone help me obtain a map of N.A. or at the minimum Brooklyn and Long Island which is where the NY free map is limited.
Also How do I get the traffic to work? Anyone?

For traffic you need to have a data connection.
I just waited till the GPS got a lock, set my route, tap the screen, hit tomtom traffic and it worked...
if our on AT&T i think some people had to disable the proxy for tomtom to be able to connect.

Don't ask for warez, cause if you can't purchase one from their site are you gonna pay one of us to "obtain" it for you? Use your head. If you wanna look for maps like that try Google.

Hold your dick? Are you gay? Someone tells you not to ask for warez and all of your replies revolve around dick. Hmm. Hey, it's ok, we don't discriminate based on sexuality so eat as much penis as you can fit in that liitle noise hole of yours, but when ya ask for warez the big kids are gonna yell at you, so try to keep your little tantrums to a minimun. k? Beatoff.

Wow... Somebody be the bigger person and stop waving your e-penis...
sdlopez83: When you say the website is down, do you mean accessing it from the phone through TomTom on on your PC?
If through the phone is yours an ATT Tilt, and if so did you disable the ATT Proxy?
Let us know.

If someone asks for warez, I'd politely warn them once, then maybe the second time, pass their details to the vendor, FiBi, interplod.
Discussing their sexuality, religion, politics is plain unhelpful. People that use warez are thieves.

Ha-ha sorry about that to the rest of you. Getting warez was not my intent.
When I go to the tomtom website and then go to maps The website says "Our Apologies The TomTom Map Store is closed while we're updating and improving it. Our apologies for the inconvenience. Please check back soon!"
And its been like this for quite some time. When googling tt maps of N.A. I get all this irrelevant garbage and the tomtom website which brings me back to where I was.
This is the tomtom map apology website for you non believers http://www.tomtom.com/custom_errors/maintenance.php?Lid=4

You guys try downloading TomTom Home and buying maps through the program? The tomtom site's map store's been down for a long time now and I had to go through TT Home to buy my NA map.
