It is using WebKit (like Apple Safari).

Brave enough to try? :D

Thanks for the info!

I thought I'd be an innovator and try this...turned out to run REALLY SLOWLY on my Kaiser with absolutely no added value over PIE, let alone Opera (either one).

I uninstalled it after 5min.

Anyone else?

H.

Yep, I too had an awful experience. Very slow and poor rendering. Will be giving this one a miss. It's a 4meg install too!

Using it now over AT&T Edge.

It's very sluggish, especially when scrolling around pages. I might say it's worse than an unfixed IE. Right now it's stalling trying to load NYTimes.com. The pages display very nicely once loaded, but that takes long and navigating around them is clumsy.

I'll keep an eye on this, but until they can speed this thing up considerably, Opera Mini will still be my front man.

I'm actually kind of impressed with it. If this is just an early beta it's pretty decent, unlike PIE I can actually load NYT and Guardian.co.uk. It's slow to load and slow to scroll but usable. The zoom function works reasonably well, if a bit slow.

I think the most important thing to realize here is that it's Webkit based. Try iphone.facebook.com, it almost loads correctly. If we could get iPhone apps on WM6 that'd be fantastic. Currently Netfront and Opera Mini are better, but Webkit is a great rendering engine, it'd be wonderful to see it working correctly.

I know it is a beta, but not worth the space it takes.
Uninstalled it.

Wow... slow. I connected to wifi and it still dragged along. Actually was able to make the app crash too.
