Hi everyone,

Need some advise / help here please.

I have tried most of the new ROMS on my XDA IIs (and they are all awesome), but when I start wifi (using newer cabs as suggested through out various other threads), it runs fine for an undefined amount of time and then it will simply black screen on me.

I press the reset button and it restarts, but shows R NONE and G NONE. I then perform a hard reset and shows normal. System restarts and then goes black screen on me. After several more reboots, it will finally stay up, until the wifi (more often than not) starts or sometimes it can be random on an app.

When installing new ROMS, I have cleared the HIVE and formatted the storage.

Anyone able to shed some light on my black screening device

Hi

I've had this issue with some of WM6 roms.
It may be WIFI related. Because it always happened after some unlucky attempt to start WLAN. (and then after warm reset, wifi tried to start during startup causing another crash).

It's only my suggestion.
You may be experiancing some worse battery / hardware related stuff.

If it's persistent, try downgrading to some WM2003 that is familiar to you, and see if the problem is still there.

Cheers,
