Hey guys! Both the Artemis and the Herald have the same exact 50mb os.nb requirement for their nbh files. We need to work together to find a way around this. I see you guys can flash through SD card.Does this require an CID-Unlocked device?
Anyhow, I'm assuming that either the SPL or the RUU flashing software controls the size requirements, anyone care to take a stab at helping me find a fix for both devices? Thanks!!

Thats not working
ivanmmj - i've already talked to pof about this - its in the SPL part of the bootloader - new SPL will need to be made - pof is quite busy at the moment so not sure if it'll ever get done.

Correct, that lets you flash the ROM at the cost of the extra space which you loose to the padding.
If it's in the SPL, then I've been looking at the wrong place. >.< I wonder if our SPL's are similar. I know that the Herald uses the Athena's IPL so, hey, why not?
EDIT: What does make sense is: If it's in the SPL, how come you can flash smaller files through the SD card? Btw, do you have have to have a HardSPLed device or CID-Unlocked Device in order to flash through your SD card? I haven't tried it because my card died on me.
