Can't Send NOR Receive Text/SMS Messages

why? what triggered this problem? when i send a text/sms message it just stays at outbox. and it sucks. i got it fixed couple of days ago bye reseting like two or three times in a row. now its not helping..

o2 sms plus

Why don't you ask support from the thread where you got the ROM? since not all of us are using it, you may get results and feedbacks from other users there. posting or starting a new thread is not the solution to your problem.
Kindly read proper posting or starting a new thread.

i've had the same problem and did post in the respective ROM forum, but received no reply. i uninstalled most of the programs that were in the ROM and then i was able to send and receive texts. this is probably not a good long term solution, though. but i hope kumara's latest rom with windows 6.1 should solve it.

That is why you need to post it in the correct thread so that the ROM cooker would know if there are bugs in his ROM. He can then identify the problem and fix it or share ideas with other users who fix it. Just give good-ol-Garmin some time :) He may be busy at the moment, or even looking for the solution as we speak :D

2nd. hard reset, AND DONT INSTALL ANY APPS!!! (does the problem persist???)
3rd. install all your apps, one by one, and reset after installing one apps, then try SMS (does the problem persist?) if yes, means that it caused by your apps,.

i tried step 1,
i was succesful in sending an sms.

then i uninstalled o2 sms plus, i was able to send and recieve message with the stock messaging application.

could you suggest an alternative prog / app that is COMPATIBLE with your kumara touch that is like o2 sms plus? i need the scheduled sms sending feature of o2 sms plus thats why i tried installing it.?
