Light dont turn off?

When my phone goes into sleep mode my Green and Red light stay on? when i have my keyboard open those lights stay on also? i have to restart my phone for it to work right then after a bit it will happen agian?

Will this also make my battery die quicker?

Happens to me too. Very randomly. I'm not sure why. A reset will ix it. I am not sure if its a piece of software or Shaps latest ROM doing it but its been pretty good the last few weeks.
