Multiple messages sent using Outlook and Exchange Server.

I presently am running the 3.16 "unofficial" release and am quite pleased. GPS works, Data seems faster, but I have one large problem. Every time I try to send an email from the Mogul using Outlook and our exchange server multiple copies are sent. The phone will sync, deliver the message but it stays in the outbox until 3 or more messages are sent. I have Push turned off in the connection manager.

POP3 messages are fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have push on. Everything comes in right. But when I send, it lags 0/1 then all of a sudden, usually four are sent.

Same problem here. I sent 10 copies of an email to my wife last night. Pretty annoying.

Ditto here. In fact, my wife said she got seven one evening and another four or five the next morning.

Makes me wonder now how many copies of my emails others have been getting.

I use mail2web and had the same problem before, someone suggested to turn off SSL encryption. Thus far it's worked and emails send noticably faster and no duplicates, yet.

Interesting, I subscribe to this thread and just got three messages indicating a reply. All three were the same message from zmokin. I received them on my computer, so the Mogul is off the hook.

To answer your question zmokin, some of the parties I emaild from the Mogul reported receiving the message up to 10 times, including my boss!

I reverted to 2.17 and the multiple message problem disappeared, along with a lot of other features I enjoyed.

I could not endure the wrath of the co-workers and family as they were forced to delete multiple messages.

It seems as if the message stays in the outbox even after syncing for a somewhat random amount of time.

Maybe when the official release is available Sprint will have fixed this bug.

I too am seeing this with an Alltel Phone using 3.27 radio and DCD 2.3.2 Kitchen ROM.
