Sync Problems Cingular 8525

I have a Cingular 8525 operating with Windows Mobile 5, I have been trying to sync with my Lenovo 3000 N-100 with Windows Vista. I was able to establish a partnership once but I have not been able to sync since. I want to upgrade to to Windows Mobile 6 but my computer does not recognize my 8525. I have deleted the previous partnership and re-installed Windows Mobile Center, but without success. I have read so many websites but none have been able to help me.

Please can someone assist with this problem?

You need to upgrade activesync from 4.1 to the latest release and it will work.

I have upgraded to Windows Mobile Center for Vista.

i think this is an issue with vista + Windows Mobile Center as i have a simular problem . as far as i am aware microsoft know about this but we are still waiting for a fix .
as i said i only think this , i have been trying to sync my ppc for 3 months now with no luck have read certain posts on the issue to fix this but none have helped me maybee some one more experienced than myself can give us both advise.
