HTC Tilt headphones

I bought a mini usb to 3.5 stereo adapter. I then bought some jensen headphones and plugged it all into my HTC tilt. NOthing happened. Any suggestions.

PS I got bluetooth headphones but didnt like them and didnt htink they were worth the money.

1. What type of adapter did you buy?
2. What brand?
3. HTC devices use 11-pin so most likely you bought a 7-pin adapter which does not work.
