Dead mic?

I'm having trouble with my 8525, people cant seem to hear me when on a call, I can hear them fine but they cant hear me. Any ideas? I tried rebooting, reflashing, nothing works... :confused::confused:

i have the same problem. i think its hardware. try plugging in the usb charger and pull it towards the back of the phone not too hard but a little and see if any one can hear you. it works for me but it sucks. i think i might have to pull mine apart.

Theres no point in taking the phone apart, the mic is soldered on to the motherboard, so theres not really much anything you can do besides smack it around a little...
