I am a newbie :o Do I have to remove my older version of TouchIT wm6.1 19199.1.0.0 and go back to HARD-SPL before I install this new version?
Do I still need the X_button.cab?

I also have another problem, since I updated my rom for the first time yesterday I have problems with the ActiveSync, it doesn't synchonisate. Does anyone know what te problem could be?

This is a clean rom, So you will need to choose and install the applications you like. So if you like the programme with clock.. weather .. music.. aka HTC Home.. You will need to install it.

I´ve checked and it´s not running in the background. The same happens if go by power-settings and choose backlight from left-side softkey.

Also having this problem and I can't seem to setup a wireless network... I enter the commanager, select wifi settings, then wifi and it goes directly to the network adapters page. The window to setup a wireless network seems to be missing!

Already tried that, but that is to install phone's operators settings... Hard-reseted again today and Wi-Fi shortcut in Settins->Connections is missing and even through the commanager I can't get there :( So, for now, I have no wireless in my Herald :(

EDIT: I forgot something... When I connect Wi-Fi in Comm Manager it doesn't auto-detects wireless networks like when I was using ITsBlack (also with WM6.1) and the usual wi-fi symbol that appears at the top bar is also missing!

I confirm same isuue, so i have no way of turning down the backlight to save my battery. Any suggestion? Reg edit or anything that may work to fix this?

here is some minor issues I encountered,

your batterystatus theme is funky when you change it to the default wm theme.

the softkey changer you use has issues with setting the calendar as a button, you get the cannot find htccalendar error

the running programs tab is msising from the memory panel

the clear storage function does not work. When I press it, it opens and closed right away. you should use this softkey applet attached

nvm found out my issue. I couldn't flash up to the new aserg lite rom. but I went to the hardspl one.


Once your lite version issue is fixed about the blacklight and clear storage. I will probably try it again.

I have just installed this new Rom and tried to install TomTom 6 because I have an appointment later on. For some reason the autorun doesn't kick in to install Tomtom.

In the past Tomtom autoinstalled itselves after plugging in my sdcard.

Tried installing the cab files seperate. But after installing them Tomtom can't find any maps eventhough I have worked with those maps and I'm sure they're present.

its FAsstt but still has bugs tho... like my homescreen got all messed up looking like a tv with no cable hooked up to it and the wifi does not workk and it just needs a little more work and it would be a great ro....but i just flashed touch it 4.4. on it and it works ok...i mean any rom is better then the tmobile one...but am waiting for the full one of this onee....

This is a very Fast Rom.. I'm pretty satisfied with it thus far. The MMS issue still has not been fixed and a couple other minor things that have already been addressed. Not being able to turn the keyboard sliding sound off is annoying so I just went to the registry and edited it from there, basically turning it off. I dont use it anyway

Please verify which devices you are using.

Becuse for my herlad(terra:

- no problems turning off keyboardsounds
- never had freezing screen (only while customizing - but that is normal)

- all other is working fast.

So maybe it is device related??

- I can't set the alarm! If I set it to 5:45 it defaults back to 6:00...
- If I enable the "Date" option for the home screen, the full date+time now needs 2 lines

- WiFi is working because I see the lights blinking when I start WiFi from the CommManager, but I don't see the normal wifi indicator
on top and I can't select the wifi settings.
- Infrared is turned off when I check the setting under the option Beam,

There is a trick to this one. You need special skillz of READING to install this ROM. Especialy the line that reads:

I flashed the new version link just now (10 minutes ago), I have all the bugs reported:

keybord sliding sound: always turns back to default, whatever change I make
backlight settings: can't open

and Device information is empty. and the downloaded zip did not want to open in winzip, extracted only from explorer context menu.

I will take out sd card and hard-reset to see how it works.

When did you fix the Backlight and Wifi? I saw that you had updated the ROM and fixed them, but I have the "New" version from page 1 and both issues remain in the ROM for me. I updated from the IT's Black version in my now outdated signature and am happy to report that the Adobe Reader LE issue I reported has either been fixed or does not occur here.

If you ever feel frisky enough to tweak further, I would echo the preference of HTC Audio over WMP.

Until now there is no way to get rid of WMP - because of the phone app and ringtone..

when deleting WMP NO ringtones are played and that´s not good for a phone :D

I encountered this too, but I was able to work around it by using the hard OK button on the phone as opposed to the on screen one to confirm the time.

Hello there, i've been using alot of Open Touch roms lately, however i simply have trouble trying to use a Touch IT ROM. I'd love to try one of these however the same procedure i use to flash my wing with Open Touch ROMS does not appear to work for Touch it ROMS.
