Touch screen while in a call

Is there a way to disable the touch screen while in a phone call? The Treo 750 has that option and it is very helpful. When I am talking on my phone my cheeks presses different buttons and sometimes hangs up on me while in a call.

Can this be done? if so how?

Doesn't the kaiser have fast sleep anyway? I know S2U2 has screen off during a call.

I have been using S2U2 mostly for full screen caller photo ID, but I am now trying it to lock the screen while on a call too.

Question: is there a way to "wake up" the screen once it is off. How will I call up the keypad for entering PIN's or turn on the speakerphone?
Nevermind, hitting the power key does that.
