Hi,
in start/parameters/system i have an icon "grey bin" named "clear storage""("effacer données"):
it proposes to delete all datas if typing "1234" ,
i would like to supress that icon , as we cant define a better password
than "1234" as a confirmation, i find that stupid, if my pda is
on and the deviced password already entered that "anybody" could erase my data.
i couldnt find the path/lnk to that icon:
it's not in \windows\Menu Démarrer\Paramètres (empty folder!)
there's not any "parameters" folder in \windows\start menu\(only programs)
ps: i found a "clearstorage.exe" and htm, but i wouldnt like to erase only
the icon in parameters/system
best regards

That option I believe is the "clear storage" option. It effectively does a hard reset so someone could do a hard reset even if they did not know the password.

There may be a registry key to change the password, but it'[s unknown to me.
