I have read recently that any of the current and those will be be released in upcoming few months will be compatible with wm7!! The new windows will be released with its new devices only. This informations were in a discussion about the new sony erricson device xperia x1.

Well give me WM7 rom and i will try :P

But my answer will be NO, because WM7 will be based on Windows CE 6 and our current drivers are based on Windows CE 5 (there is little probability that the drivers will work but the old CE 5 kernel will not boot at all with the new OS (or maybe there will be way to modify the kernel in order to boot like was the case with Wm5 to WM6 transition

i don't think that will be possible for the BA, and not for any other Device released lately for that matter... i guess it will ship only with new devices which will in turn bring with themselves totally different hardware... not to mention drivers.
It may be Windows, but this is not WindowsXP or Vista that you can install on almost any current PC available.
The Hardware Manufacturers would have to write completely new drivers to support the Hardware of our old PocketPC Phones within the new OS.
Doubtful that any vendor or reseller will shoot themself in the foot by releasing a new OS for old Hardware, which would probably hinder sales of new devices.

I heared that Ultimate 9502 is going to be released by Telstra soon, do u have any news, close up seeing, or touching on it??

I think this is the future device for me, but I afraid that as it is not HTC device, may we will not find a cooker for it in the xda-devlopers :(

remember what i've said... "it useless to speculate on WM7" i was being specific.
i only said "even more about the future" because the post above me is talking about a Ultimate 9502 which is soon to be released, in which, speculations are nullified if it was released, and press releases published therefore DOOMed to be useless.

In Short. Speculation is useless in all sense of the word(in this TOPIC). Period.
