I have a prophet wm5 aku2 and the bluetooth suddenly stopped working. When I turn on the BT, the blue led light doesn't light up. And my BT stereo headphone won't connect. So I tried repairing, but instead got the error message: problem with BT hardware.
What should I do?
reinstall the bt a2dp stack? (I don't remember which I had)
reformat/hard reset? (would that help? I don't want to lose data for nothing.)
are there BT drivers that I can install?
update rom? to which rom?
update to wm6?
So many option, but I can't find anything in the forum about bluetooth with above error msg...
Update:
Okay so I decided to do a hard reset and my bluetooth started working again.
However when I restored my files/apps using Sprite Backup, it stopped working again.
So I'm guess the problem is within the registry. I don't know much about registry editing. Anyone know what to look for in the registry that would affect BT?
