sending files through threaded sms

hey as anyone else had any problems sending files through the sms window or from the htc album? whenever i attempt to send a picture it tells me that "you cannot send this message in the current mode because it contains content which may not be viewable by your recipient."
any ideas?

you need to go under MMS options and change one of the settings to FREE....it was explained in a thread i searched

volcomnator has it right but some CABs seem to disable that option; actually remove it completely. I believe it's the AT&T setting CABs. So if you find you don't have that setting you might need to hard reset and not install those CABs

yeah..forgot to mention that..if you installed the cab to restore your MMS/SMS settings you need to uninstall and check "free" and then install the cab after
