Hi All,

Yes - I unticked the box to turn off IRDA. (incoming beams) But I appreciate the suggestion... :)

Prior to upgrading my O2 XDA IIs to WM6 I was able to use some pretty crappy HP software for their model FA287A IPAQ Bluetooth Folding Keyboard.

Meaning - this all worked on WM5

This keyboard presents itself as a serial device (and not a HID device, shame on HP!). There is an application you install and run (in programs) that is hard coded to look at COM1 for the keyboard. It worked in WM5. The HP software installs fine, but complains about nothing on COM1. When I bluetooth connect the keyboard, and set the serial port in bluetooth settings (attempting to set it as COM1) it complains and says that the COM port can not be created.

Is there any way to tell what is using COM1?
I have searched the registry - but feel I must be missing something.

Any ideas?

Many thanks, Arthur...
