I'm running 'Opera Mini 4 Beta 2' right now and have the following issues:

-On occasion, Opera will close when I go back to the Today screen. I'll press 'OK' and sometimes it takes me back to the Today screen with no problems. Other times I'll have to relaunch Opera and will have lost my spot. Any ideas here? I will say that when I launch it, it says 'suite_02 could not be found'. I tried to set up a shortcut but for some reason it wouldn't work on DCD's 2.1.0 ROM. Maybe this has something to do with it?

-Formatting. In order for Opera to format the page correctly, sometimes I'll have to turn 'Mobile View' & 'Landscape Mode' on and off before the text will be formatted. It could be on my end, but anyone know what this is all about? Is it just mobile view I need to set it as? It doesn't seem that way, but again - could be something I'm missing.

Thanks for any help.

The reason your shortcut is getting errors is because that "suite_02" refers to a specific 'slot' if you will inside your esmertec jbed java launcher. Try different combinations of numbers and you'll find one that works. If you have nothing else installed, often times it's suite 0. Here's my EXACT link's parameters if you edit the file in notepad.

28#"\windows\jbed.exe" -run "s0_"

hope this helps

Forgot to mention, I'd go ahead and download the final opera 4 mini. It's a lot more stable. I run mobile view all the time also, fwiw

OK, will definitely try OM4 Final. One quick question though:

How will upgrading to OM4 affected my jbed shortcut? Thank you to KMart for the suggestions, but for whatever reason, nothing really seems to work. Should I uninstall everything and see what OM4 does?

This link should help:

http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6800-xv6800/91837-opera-mini-4-beta-2-released-includes-info-new-java-midlet-manager.html

The instructions work just the same for Opera 4 Final. I am using final.
