Anyone know of an app that can SMS my phones location using cell information This would be useful for keeping track of my kids or. finding my phone when I get dunk and leave it in a friends truck again.

Installation
-------------------

1. Unzip the wimpsetup.cab file
2. Copy the wimpsetup.cab file to your Windows Mobile device using ActiveSync
3. Find the wimpsetup.cab file (on the device) using File Explorer and install by clicking the filename

Thanks for the quick responses. The W.I.M.P app looks close to what I want but, the Wing doesn't have GPS.

ditto, i looked into this because i was intrigued but its pointless because the wing doesnt have an internal gps. isnt there a program that works like the "my location" feature on google maps application that gets your approximate location based on cell tower locations?:confused: something like that would be more suited for the wing.

yeah i know its out there, i used to have it for my dash. its designed to send a text message to a cetrian number you specify when any other sim than urs is put in the phone. it sends a text like every 5 mins with the like gprs location, which is basicly what google maps locator uses. but it only send that gprs code, so it dosent accualy say where it is located.

i went from happy, to impressed, to pissed off, to laughing in less than a minute. i hope that site doesnt take my cell phone number and use it against me...
