WIFI Problem

Hi;
i have WIFI problem for my dopod 818pro, and try to solve that problem by searching tutorial through the web site..but nothing solution found :(
I tried Flashing using a few Good ROMS in this forum but the result also same.....
anybody can solve this problem...?

the problem is cannot detect nearest WIFI terminal :(....
Wifi on/off ok...
i try use my friend iPOD touch, that iPOD detect Wifi with no problem...
any setting need to configure on the dopod?

Try going nearer to the WiFi, and in start->settings->Connections (tab)->WiFi, put the 'power' up to max (there is a slider).

I wonder if this is hardware rather than software. Try an official WM5 (AKU2.2) ROM from the ftp/wiki and see if you still get this problem.

i have this same problem when I install not original qtek ROM (WM6 or WM6.1).
Tray to scan your network using PeekPocket (on your PDA) and you see if problem are hardware or software. PeekPocket in wm6 & wm6.1 found my AP but default Windows Mobile not (in wireless settings). In WM5 all is tip top :-)

Should do as the 818p is just a branded version of the prophet..

Hi there,

I've a problem with my wifi pocket. It can detected with my wireless router and get the IP. But the problem is few minutes up and few minutes down. That's mean it's not stable. But if I'm using with my Nokia N95 it's working well. I'm using WM6.1 korand.
Can help me please?

i have the same problem with my prophet wifi. it cannot detect any wireless network. leds working but i think cannot scan for wifi. i try all this you say here but i cannot solve my problem.
can anyone help?
