It won't broadcast or work (at all) unless I launch it while it's connected to my computer via USB.
Even though it says that it's broadcasting and ready.
I can disconnect it afterwards and it'll work fine, and numerous other devices in my house will detect it, but it won't work after a soft reset.
Version 0.95

That seems to have done the trick.
It's a weird bug, but that really isn't a battery friendly option.
It works if the wifi is previously clicked on and was connected to a different network, or if launched while connected to USB.
Mine was on the middle setting between high performance and best battery.
odd.
Has chainfire ever looked at this issue?

Bump. Setting it to battery for performance does NOT do the trick for me. My laptop and other PCs around can still see the wireless network that I have set up on my Tilt to use with WMWifiRouter. I fear this is severely draining my battery as this wireless network is always available even after I turn WiFi off on my phone.
Any suggestions? I have also tried the WiFi Profiles program as was recommended in another post. No luck.

Whenever I run it, I always have the phone connected to a charging source, otherwise it eats the battery very fast. I beieve that in your case it is not the usb port that is important, it is the fact that usb is viewed as charging the battery.

Regardless of whether it is charging or not, the point is that after I shut down WMWifiRouter and WiFi is disabled on my device, my laptop can still see the wireless network and connect to it. There is no internet connectivity, but the wireless network is still available to connect to.
How do I stop this?
