I've been reading as many Wiki's, Stickies, and threads and I've seen some questions similar to mine, but I think I'm justing missing something.
I updated to Dutty's 6.1 WWE with Radio PolarisRadio1.58.23.21. From DuttiesWiki I read in order to enable GPS you must download QuickGPS and run GPSTools. It worked. Thats no problem. The problem is when I do a soft reset it takes the phone ages to find a proper position, and sometimes it doesn't even work.
With google maps I've tried COM4 at 4800 and 57600 and everything in between. Is there anything that can make me get a position faster with more satalite connections? I get a maximum of 4 once connected, or even get a GOOD connection, seeing how it "times" out/doesn't even find a position. Before the update with the stock rom and radio, the GPS connected in seconds. But no so much anymore.
If this has been already asked and answered, kindly point the way.
