Hi everyone,
I am upgrading the security on my home network from WEP to a more robust WPA variety.
I wanted to know which version Kaiser users prefered? WPA-AES or WPA-TKIP?
If you have a preference please share why?
Thanks in advance.

I use none of the above. WPA2-PSK and AES are my preferences. Would setup a radius server but I don't have the motivation.

Just before you update your security settings, make sure your running a recent firmware of your router. Your old one may not play nice with your kaiser's settings.
WPA-TKIP for me please  .

Yep, my routers running v24rc6.2 of DD-WRT.
Im just testing WPA-AES at the moment but my Network DVD player see's it and apparently logs on to it but wont actually let me see my files. citing ' please wait for a while then log onto the Buffalo Link Theater Media Server'
My Kaiser connects fine.
May have to try WPA-TKIP???
