how to setup gps with t-mobile navigate

i just got my hands on a t-mobile navigate carkit with a
thb bury 021303 gps reciever

but i am unable to get a gps signal.

does anyone know how i set the gps so it will work?

i already installed the latest tomtom, the latest navigate software.
and i tried all of the com ports.

but still i dont have a signal.

If this is the receiver you have, then you need to mechanically alter the device and change the NMEA settings.
I'm sure there is a similar explanation on how to do this in english.

i checked out the site you mentioned.

i have a different gps mouse then the one that is displayed on the picture.

so unfortunally this work around doesnt work for me :(.

any other suggestions?
