Ok, I've got Alltel for service and everything works great in my home area but when I'm out of town I can't make calls. This happened to at the beginning of Feb when I went to Columbus (Ohio) and was on the new 3.27 radio it kept saying that my code could not be verified when trying to make a call. Now, it happened again in Detroit, not the Sprint message this time but still said my code could not be verified??
I was on PRL 30031, changed back to 30029 and tried 40029 and all had the same problem?
Anyone have a clue or can get me started in the right direction? I really don't want to have to go back to the original radio and ROM just so I can roam.
Thanks in advance...

I've got the same exact problem, and I tried multiple PRLs also. I'm fine inside Alltel's network but anytime I roam I get the message, Your Authentication code can not be verified.

I got a response over on HF, apparently a big issue that's still being worked on. I started having issues at beginning of Feb, so who knows how much longer it will take. Just wish there was a way I could actually use my phone like I'm supposed to be able to, really becoming disappointed now that I know it's just not me and because of this 3.27 radio.

I upgraded my alltel 6800 yesterday to dizzlev1.31 (based on dcd2.32?) with the 3.27 radio. after the upgrade I noticed the roam indicator was flashing.
I tried several Prl files, 30008 30029 30031 40029 40031 and 40036 with no luck. I verified my mdn and msid.
Lo and behold *228 didn't work, it took me to verizon to be programmed which failed. probably for a good reason.
I didn't record my SID so I went down to the local alltel store and while they were busy I checked the SID on the display phone. it was different than mine so I programmed in the number that was on the display (##778, edit, password 000000, sid 152 nid 65535.
My roaming indicator went away!
After talking to the kid working at the store he couldn't say for sure whether or not I had incurred any roaming charges.
Beware everyone of the SID

Call Alltel.
I used a land line, called Alltel's support and told them. They asked where I was, where my home area was and after 20 minutes on hold they told me to reset my phone. After that, all was good.
Same thing happened to a coworkers 6800 when we upgraded it to Alltel's WM6 release.
