Titan not detecting PC...help please! not as noobie as it sounds

Hi,
I flashed my titan with DCD's 2.3.0 kitchen. (added some OEMs myself)
Everything went well, until it finished.
Whenever I plug in my usb, my cellphone does not detect my PC at all.
Here are the things I have done in attempt to fix it:

-Tried syncing my titan with three PCs and three different wires, all with no luck.
-I hard reset two times and still no luck.
-I have tried both ticking and unticking "advanced network functionality"
-On my PC (Vista-32bit) I have unticked and ticked all possible options in Windows Mobile Device Center.
-Tried to relock it with Titanrelocker, however it just says no device detected.
-Went into bootloader mode and flash a new ROM from there. It went as if it's flashing like normal; however, once i got it started up i found out it wasn't even flashed...still the old broken ROM.

All these and no luck. Normally when I plug in my USB, there syncing icon will appear on top of my today screen, but now..it remains "EV"
Any help please?

is the sync center icon in the lower right corner of your pc visible (looks like the acive sync icon). i have had this problem and shut down and restarted my computer, opened mobile device center THEN connected my phone and it worked for me.

I have been having the same problem, but with XP sp2. I have docs 2.2.1. I am able to sync with BT, but i have not been able to use the usb cable since the reflash. I have cheek all setting on active sync. and nothing has been helping it. i have notice, that location 4 has been added to my network connections. Do i have to set up an network sync now?

After flashing, you have to kill mobsync.exe from the task manager and restart Windows Mobile Device Center on Vista or Activesync on XP. Not sure of the process name for Activesync. Else, you can reboot the PC.
