Operamini. How it works?

I have a question about operamini.
I download the opera-mini-advanced.jad and opera-mini-advanced.jar i run the 1st one and then when i am going to run the 2nd one it says that it's allready installed, well done so far.
If i put only the jad file it comes to a point that says OperaMini Cannot be found in local install folder. -77(is it a specific loc that i should copy that file)?
Then when i search in my programs for a new browser nothing it's there. I open Esmertec Jbed (Java) and i see there operamini, i am pressing launch button it shows me for a sec an animation (a runner in blue colour) and then nothing.
How opera mini works?

okay... you have to install jar file or jad file..

and launch it..

should be easy actually..

mm... today, it's a bit difficult for me to explain it in english.. :(sory..

OK i've done it. I run the jar file then the operamini was installed and then i press the launch button but nothing happens. This operamini is a complete new browser ?? i should find this in the programs or its just a plug-in or something?

2. tap operamini,
3. yes its a next browser else than PIE,
4. Handy and fast,
5. data flow very low,
6. BUT .... not so data filling friendly......,
7. worth to give it a try especially playing with the expensive gprs connection... ;)

run java tapped opera mini and launch it..

Opera mini is a java app, and so you need a java program.
Opera Mobile is a standalone app for S60 and Windows Mobile

well...i've the same problem...after opera mini installation...the icon appears.when i press launch...the esmertec just closes...application isn't launched
when i was using sun's java...everything was ok...
any ideas?

instead of the built-in JAVA. Try ~~~~

i needed opera mini to obtain server pass codes...for opera ppc version to receive traffic from opera minis gateways... =) now everything works fine...thanx once more
