i hope you guys can help me out.

my problem is ,that i bought an herold witch is stuck in the bootloader !
the need little stripes won´t dissapear by any type of reset.

there a so many threads that stroke that a bit... but none only for that specific propblem...

i don´t know by witch method the thing was flashed so i can´t help you there.

You could always try flashing the original ROM. They can all be found here:

If that doesn´t work it would be helpful to know the SPL version, I can´t tell by the picture the numbers are too small.

from looking at the picture you included, I can see your IPL is v1.xx

There have been many people who have permanently bricked their phones by trying to hardspl and uspl ... so make sure you do some research before attempting to do those..

If it goes to bootloader automatically, and it has an SPL of 1.x, it's probably already permanently bricked. Your only option is to bring it to a repair center. Sorry.

i am now trying to reflash the original firmware... lets see...

it says i need a newer flashingtool...... WHAT !!??!?!:eek:

i now figured out that it is an italien device.. but the italien firmware also didn´t work...


do anyone has an idea ??? PLEASE....

Like I said, if it's stuck at bootloader and has that SPL, it's probably permanently bricked. Either the Radio or SPL or IPL was accidently overwritten. I was researching and found something that maybe be useful if it's the radio being overwriten but don't have the knowhow to port it to the Herald... yet.

i just tryed : 1. Kill ActiveSync process - wcescom.exe on your computer.
2. Attach USB-cable to device.
3. Run programm from attach, select "\\.\WCEUSBSH001" from
port's list and click Ok.
4. Type (type himself, not copy/paste) in window:
password BsaD5SeoA(press Enter)
ruurun 0(press Enter)
ResetDevice(press Enter)

and after a hardreset..... the screen went green....so... Step forward or did i now find the perfekt brick procedure :-)

short before it enters bootmode it displays "searching for sd-card"
