Hi, I am getting a new 02 Orbit 2/Polaris tomorrow. Is there anything i should do or know to get the best out of this handset?
I have a wizard at the moment so have flashed custom roms etc already.

Thankyou

Stu.

O2 should send you a 3G SIM with your Orbit.

If you're already with O2 (on a 3G service) then I think your old SIM would be fine (and they might choose not to send you one).

If you're with O2 with a plain GSM only SIM then it will work in your orbit but only in GSM mode.

then connection icon next to the signal strength shows "G", or "3G", or "H" depending on what sort of connectivity you have.

i had to get a new sim card for mine.

the tip i got from o2 was that if you look at your sim card, it has 3g on it.

it doesn't matter if you have 3g sim or not, you should be able to connect to 3g anyways, it does not depend on the sim you have. 3g sim just offer more memory
