Good news for all facing SOD (Screen of death = Power-on button not responding from stand-by mode).
After dealing with SOD for some days, when upgrading from WM5 (original) to FAMAN WM6 ES.4.02 (thanks man for this GREAT rom), and after some hard resets, flashes, in-deep reading all available post on the matter... I have these clear conclusions:
1. It happened to me with my trinity and that specific rom, but there are many posts with the same problem and different devices and roms.
2. My SOD was solved when, after hard reseting, I installed the Today screen applications I have always used (SPB Diary, SPB Time) in the main memory NOT in the mini-SD card.
Clear as water for me. I hope my experience and personal conclusions help others...
