Upgrading now. The new AT&T Tilt rom just released sucks!
It does not pick up signal when I exit the subway, and hence do not get push email or calls.
Not good as I rely on this for work!

Hope this is better. Radio is newer than AT&T Tilt ROM.

Just a FYI...

That radio for me was the worst one I ever tried in retrospect to battery life. I hope you have better luck with it. :)

Anyone have the AT&T Medianet settings cab. The one I have, Cingular_somethingorother_V2.cab does not work with this rom.

hey friends... this rom "singapore" came in my kaiser... then when I saw wm6 Hong kong I changed it.. and I think hong kong is faster than singapore..

After reading everything carefully on this site I am attempting my first rom flashing with this new release. Toes and fingers crossed. I hope its in english and not in Bengali..... or even worse bricking my phone.

dunno abt this being new. its the exact same rom i have on my tytn2 bought at singapore. vsbenchmark score is 1399. seems stable so far. some apps mess it up, needing hard resets, else works fine.

Why Bengali? Its a SEA(South East Asia) ROM. I hope you have'nt flashed already, because this ROM is pre programmed to interchange languages every day starting with english-thai-mandarin-vietnamese-malay :D

Must be newer than mine then, bought mine in Singapore in Novemeber and it had the previous ROM on it. As far as the ROM being new it was uploaded onto the HTC site on the 29th of Feb, 2008 so as far as availability is concerened its new.

How was the GPS performance like?

I have flashed with the new ROM, but GPS locking seem very slow and hard? I use the bundled Mapking R12. Anyone have the same experience?

Takes me about 1 minute to 2 minutes for a fix. I'm not sure if this is fast or slow.

I just updated to this ROM over the weekend.

Can't tell any difference .... yet .... :)

the GPS locking is definately slower compared to the default ROM that came with my Singapore purchased set.

It hang on me a couple of times as well, but that may be due to the massive number of mails that I am downloading all at one shot via IMAP.

However, this ROM is faster than default ROM.

just noticed there is a new rom released on 29 Feb when i log into dopod member club just now, been waiting for the wm6.1 release for quite a while, and search the forum and then only realise that you guys in singapore already downloaded and using it :P

can't wait to flash it now..
