Does flasing the radio hard reset the device?

I looked at that radio thread and saw that I do not have the latest radio and the latest one is much better then the one before it (which is the one I have).
If I flash my radio, will my phone hard reset?

Nope. Just does what it says on the tin. Only the radio gets updated. User data, etc untouched.
