Have you guys seen this yet? I been looking around for a good speech to text app for my Tilt, but does not look like there is anything out there. I text back and forth to my wife all the time and when I'm driving 85mph down the road it is not easy to respond, that's why I was looking for a way to respond via voice. Well I ran across this www.jott.com where you call a toll free number and speak your message and it send it via e-mail or text to your contact. I'm been playing around with it and it is pretty cool and pretty spot on as to what you say in the message.

If you guys know of a better way to send or respond to a text message without having to type, let me know. So far this is all I have found.
Thanks,
JMan

Jott is pretty cool. I've been using it for over a year now and it takes the place of me having to look for paper, pen, pull over to write a note. You can't dictate a book... I think the messages are limited to 30 or so seconds, but more than enough to dictate phone numbers, dates, short shopping lists, etc.

Since I use Voice Command, I don't have to do anything but speak to get my reminders/messages back in email.

They've recently integrated with Google Calendar and a slew of other 3rd party services.

Read the info on their site about how they transcribe. They use a combination of automation and humans. Probably not a great thing for confidential information. But for routine notes and reminders, it's unbeatable!
