PLEASE HELP! cant use new phone; cant unlock!

I just bought a tmobile dash off someone! they said it was locked but i figure i give a try at cracking or reflashing! i understand the procedure of cid and flash and uspl! but it wont connect to activsync...nor through bootloader mode! is there a way to bypass this device lock screen after power up!!PLEASE HELP:confused:

remove the sim card... you should go with no problem...

sorry bout that... got it! for those who may ever run into my misfortune...
1. power completely down
2. press and hold the left and right soft keys
3. while holding, press and hold the power button also ( for about 2-3 secs)
4. let go, while still holding soft keys
5. follow on-screen prompts

disclaimer... the following WILL DELETE ALL INFO ON PHONE (not including SIM and SD)
