Where is my Java application ?!

Hi,

I have recently installed opera mini but I have no way to access it since the Java application I need for launching them is not in my program menu anymore !!! Where is it located now ?

You say it's not in your program menu anymore... have you moved the shortcut? Ticked it in menus so that it appears in your Start menu? What was the name of the app?

If the Java app was installed in ROM, you can make a new shortcut by using a decent file explorer and browse the 'Windows' folder for the executable (.exe), select copy, browse to Start Menu/Programs and select 'Create Shortcut'. Now it will be back in your 'Programs' folder :)

If you've installed the Java app yourself, the .exe will be in the 'Program Files' folder within another folder of the applications name :)

Actually, it is the Emertec (if I am not wrong) Java manager that has disappeared. I am going to investigate the Windows directory. Thanks a lot for your advices. I will keep in touch ...

Hi,

I followed your advices and now it works. It seems that I have accidentally removed the 'Java Manager shortcut (jbed.exe).
Now, thanks to your tutorial, everything is in order.
