Just got my T-mobile Wing and it drains juice like a B. I'm so F'n pissed. I'm sure I'm not alone in this though. Seems this is a problem experienced by many, but I'm not even sure how to start fixing this problem.. After I charged it to 100% I left my phone on standby for an hour and when I got back, the battery was at 80%. I didn't even receive any text messages or check anything in my phone during this span of time. I turned off ActiveSync on my computer (don't really need my emails/contacts synchronized) & the phone does seem to drain slower BUT it still drains like a B. I guess I can't help but compare the battery life to my phone prior to getting the Wing, which was a Nokia 6680. It was pretty crappy, but at least I could go for like 3 days without having to charge it. My sister says PDA phones are really like this. I'm rather disappointed. At this point I'm wondering if it would be worth buying a 3000mAh battery such as this one http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-3000mAh-EXTENDED-BATTERY-FOR-T-MOBILE-WING-P4350_W0QQitemZ300202924529QQihZ020QQcategoryZ1503 4QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem, if it would make a considerable difference battery life-wise. I mostly use my phone for texts & calls (though I would want to use WiFi every now & then), and I just want to be able to do these without my battery draining like 3% everytime I get/send a text message...
