Hi pkoper,

I was quite happy seeing this german 6.1 ROM.
Installed it now and had some problems with the pencil setting - it was not possible using the pencil at all.
Using the buttons I made it happened to reach the Screen settings and changed the Allignment Setting - now everything's fine.

Now I'm testing your rom...

Edit: Quite nice and stable.
Just the program memory is a bit under newest ROMs by Noonski.

After disabling the cube and XPanel I got 20,4 MB free program memory, with Noonski I got 25,8 MB.
But: Noonski's ROM is Vanilla and specialised for better memory usage.

Ok. I find the ressource killer. It's the phone skin option.
AdvancedConfig - Phone - Phone Skin disabled

Before: 20.4 MB
After: 24.1 MB

Still missing 1.7 MB to Noonski, but as I said you've build no Vanilla.
So for me it's ok.

I've bought a Elfin few days ago.
I am already using a trinity.

I would like to ask if your rom really works on a elfin, because all the other roms didn't, because of the different memory amount (64/128 <--> 128/256)

So hopefully you cananswer my question.

So do you plan to translate the rest of the system into german?

Hy , wo is the Sim Manager in this Software. I can no copy the Sim contacts on the Phone Contacts. The Sim manger programm is no Installed!

You will make your full German rom.

Can you upload your SYS/OEM/ROM folders.

So i can see what you have been doing and what needs to still be done.

I'll check both the rom and Folders tomorow night.

If you download the msi from the MS site then do a search in google on how to extract msi files with a command you can get the cabs out.

And with the cabs out of the MSI you can make OEM package from them ;)

Oke so it's propably really 50-50.
And your taking the time with the down and get yourn hands dirty job of looking up some missing translations.

Good thing your not doing it alone.
It drives me mad looking through all the files for just a specific entry in the registry.

In dutch we call it Monnikenwerk.

And slick looking action screen graphics you also have there.

Gtouch, gonna look that one up for Rom version.

Jep, Piranha has done alot work on this one ( probably most of it ). I probably would not have started without him.

It was a painfull process of trial and error checking which mui's from WM6 can be used.

I made the same word mistake.

I then looked up all the posts where i made the mistake and changed CU into UC. Oeps .. I'm taking a few days of cooking I look like shit and need some sleep ;)

I cant set a new wallpaper...unfortunately theres no option in htc album to do this and the old picture viewer is not included.

Name your backdrop

Default_stwater_240_320.gif

Copy to windows folder using Totalcommander or Resco explorer.

Reboot that might do the trick.

Other wise go to

Start >> Settings >> Personal >> Today >> Themes and browse to the picture .... but that will give you a picture with a transparancy overlay yegh.

we will be uploading the whole (quarter) kitchen soon... there is not much more we can do at the moment to make it more german than it is.

As far as I know, know one has achieved a complete 100% Rom yet.

after CID unlocking i tryed to flash this Rom but i get "error 328 Invalide command" inside the rom update utility.

Any comment of information on to this issue ?

Unfortunately I'm getting an error like: "This update utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check your update utility" after 3% on my Elfin.
Shadow 2.1 TE works fine though.

any solutions maybe? ^^

so i have installed this image too, first i got the same problems as mugabemkomo.

I got another image there you have to load 2 cabs to the xda and start them, then something will be unlocked.

After that i was able to install the Piko rom.

Why i try this image? I have waiting for an update 6 month at O2. I have trouble with TOMTOM an GPS mouse and some more bugs. But no fix.

So i testing this version. I hope TOMTOM will run today.

Current feelings with the Piko Rom.

Its faster, more tools already integrated. PIM Backup is very good, becouse activesync sometime delete everything... Something like 80 % is german, thats ok for the moment.

Something i need :-)

Are you getting the elusive WM Blue Screen?
(very rare but it exists)
Put the device in Tri colour Boot Screen then reflash.
Also did you flash Hard or USPL from the Stickies?
