View Full Version : Touch STUCK on RESET SCREEN !!!!!!!!!

Situation
Take out battery, nothing on screen
put it back on and intantly goes to reset screen and gives following warning;
"This operation will delete
all your personal data,
and reset all settings
to manufacturer default.
Press Action key to restore
manufactorer default or
press other keys to cancel."

i have pressed center action key nothing happens.
i have tryed going in to bootloader screen nothing happens still keeps comming back to same screen
??????? mtty is useless at the moment couse you cant get the phone to go in to boot loader. ?
any one got any ideas ???

i know this might sound crazy but...
try the hard reset.
i mean if it works it doesnt matter if you lost all your data since the phone wont turn on anyway

i think i have tried this but please if you know how to do this on the HTC Elf please post the steps again to see if i have done this correctly or not.

With keeping red and green button pressed push the pin in the reset hole and then keep the red-green buttons pressed until the message appears on the screen.
For your initial problem: try to leave the Touch for some hours with battery taken out of it... then try...
